    im in the procees of shredding 38,000 files @ 14gb right now. its been over 13 hours and its only about 80% done. :(

    when im done with that im deleting ALL my remaining 15gb of porn that i didnt delete last time i cleaned up my laptop.

    that'll work fine. Make sure he writes down or prtscr the advanced settings if he changes them from default. (helps you with our questions later if theres problems)

    Why not just do a lowlevel format ? does what most shredder programs do and just image over it after and youre done. Takes about 30 minutes for the whole process. I do that with all our old records drives. If you want I can send you the instructions on how to do it. very easy if you have a bootable thumb drive.
