Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     But they are usually the majority that frequents English website. Fallow by the Aussies and the Canadians.

    We with the second third... language in English are usually the minority.

    But sites like phun attracts all kinds, so I'm getting used to it.

    There's a phrase "The middle of the night" that is very common. ("What are you doing coming home in the middle of the night?")

    See in Portuguese, all 6 hours have a term.

    Manha=Morning
    Afternoon=Tarde
    Noite=Night
    Midnight to 6 am= Madrugada

    I guess the best trasnlation for Madrugada would be mid of the night, but night would be involved, and seems the moon is usually very shinning late at night, and lots of days the son comes out before 6am, is weird for somebody that dd not grow up with such of culture say that is the middle of the night.

    After I wrote the above, I just thought about midnight, the translation in Portuguese is petty straight forward and means middle of the night, I bet we toke that from the English culture.

    Same thing with midday.
