    So annoying...

    The news' tease tonite was so ridiculous. The story they will run is about how falling gas prices may not be good for the economy, next at 11.

    Wtf?!

    3 years ago the economy was better than it is now. The price of gasoline is now at 2.50 for a gallon and the economy is shit. 3 years ago, I remember being pissed when the price hit 1.89.

    I am not a conspiracy theorist, but that is changing slowly in me. What is the point of the news story? To prepare us to accept rising gas prices because that means the economy shows strength then?! F that. 3 years ago at 1.89 I wasn't hoping to pay more because something must be wrong. I know others pay more in other countries, but I don't see the point in promoting this story.

    Mike rants again. Sorry. ;)

    The thing is every year you see the gas companies getting record profits, so is not like they couldn't sell any cheaper.

    I don't drive, car is like a family, and like a family takes a lot of money to take care.

    I take a taxi a bus, or a plane if needed it, but if I just go small miles away, I either bike or walk.

    Sometimes falling crude oil prices shows a lack of invester confidence in the manufacturing sector. They foresee lower production, which translates to lower oil usage, which translates to lower oil prices to act as an incentive to use more energy to make more stuff. It's not a conspiracy, just basic supply and demand.

    I gave up my car 3 years ago and I don't miss it. I didn't really drive it much when I had it, except for bad weather, emergencies or traveling long distances, like out of state.
