Most poiticians who are wealthy got that way from politics, or come from a wealthy political dynasty, of which most every state as at least one if not more.

No, what I mean is we need a self-made man in the White House. To assume the wealthy will only serve the interests of the wealthy is ignorant. Don't you know what the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation does? They ain't serving the wealthy, that's for certain.

I am aware of who the world's biggest philanthropist is. What I am saying is after Gates who is next? Who do you trust that will serve the interest of the people and not their industry? It is like saying I would love to appoint a self made billionaire from the oil industry.

I had an answer sort of like that years ago. Got it from book.

1. Have the military inform the public's choice of his/her new political office.
2. Impound all said persons assets, their families assets, and their companies assets. In the case of Bill Gates, freeze all of microsofts profits at the current level and seize all future assets until the new Presidents term is over.
3. If said President promotes American interests asnd the nation shows a profit during his term he, and all other assets frozen at his/her election are returned, if there is a deficit, those assets go to make it up.
4. No one President is allowed more than 4 years.

All political offices are voted by the public this way.

Make governing the country profitably a matter of self interest/survival to the people in charge and watch the reforms take place at warp factor 9.
