    'Course, he's a media savvy guy, so it could just be a version of Bartlett's `hot mike` play in `The West Wing`, where he `accidentally` insulted his opponent whilst the mike was open, which started a whole thing. Basically, worked out for Bartlett, as was the canny man's intent.

    Obama can't really be seen to be weighing in on something like this, especially not since `The Beer Summit`, but he either wanted to make a point or `keep it real for the people` by passing comment, without passing comment.

    Too convoluted? Or am I just a little too cynical and politically minded? :wink:
