best band I've seen in concert: UnderOath or Emery... can't decide between the two. Emery actually sounded better live than in their record

 

apparently not. although it was down for quite some time.

 

Dad once said Brian May is most underrated guitarist on the planet. I've never seen Queen live, but I do have their discography.

Brian May is known to, and revered by most guitar players, at least. He's a phenomenal musician. And a nice guy. (I met him briefly once.)

I like his work. He's written some of the heaviest stuff I've heard. Sound track to Highlander comes to mind. That's awesome PM. He seems like a very nice and unassuming person. Dad told me stories of the time he met Iron Maiden when they first toured Australia. He reckons 3 years after that when they returned for another tour, Steve Harris recognised him and remembered his name. That's sooooo cool.

 

It's a filthy lie, I tells ya. Don't lend him money. :mrgreen:

I'd swing for NZ, but they seem incredibly sparse on the ground in the phun. I do believe we only have the one vocal kiwi. He's easy to spot; he's the one with NZ in his name, lest anyone mistake him for an Aussie. :wink:
