    If you play recreationally, it should cost you no more than $50 for rental gear and admission and you can probably split a case of paintballs with 2-3 people and should only cost you about $15-20 if you do in fact split it 3 or 4 ways.

    If you play competitively every Sunday like me and shoot 2-3 cases a practice, it's expensive and it adds up.

    I guess. But there aren't many spectators... I've always wondered why there were sponsorships as well but I'm not complaining. Cuts the amount of money I have to spend in half

    Sorry, didn't see your post.

    Most, if not all fields have rental packages that let you rent a gun, hopper, mask and air tank and admission is usually included for maybe $10-15 more than the admission price for someone with their own gear.

    Just make sure that the field you're going to caters to the newer players/woodsball players and not the tournament style paintballer like myself
