I hear ya, interestingly enough just as we're talking about that I just had another co-worker come in my office raising hell about another co-worker not pulling their weight. I've been here for 14 years, well longer than the other tech people but I'm not a supervisor yet share the responsibility of one. That shit happens all the time and I have to deal with it. It's okay but dammit I should get paid for it.

I am just watching episode 7, season one of dexter.

 

Never watched it - commercials looked good but I never found the time. I really don't watch tv very much at all, especially when it's warm out. I stay on my screened in porch if i'm not woking on something.

 

yeah it's a very good show, season 3 is coming up.

sounds sweet. Believe it or not I very seldomly use a computer anywhere but work. I have a laptop furnished by the hospital that I use when i'm on call every 7 weeks - other than that I just don't use them.

I love mine at home, plays some awesome games.

 

I'm cheap and don't want to pay for the ISP. Oldest boy is 12 now so in the next year or two I won't have a choice - he'll have to have one. Also, I work on these bastards all day so I usually don't care to see one.

Do you have any clubs you go to up there?

 

there is an Elks but you have to get signed in there to get in.

 

So you don't have a lot of night life around you? I live in a small town so there is only a few places to go here - not that I go looking for them.

Here too. Ofcourse with 3 kids it's not like we're trying to go out. We usually have some friends or family around cook out on the grill and knock back a few cold ones.

It does get warmer much quicker in my neck of the woods - don't think I'd enjoy cooking outside when it's -10 degrees either. Going out for a smoke, back in a few.

 

yeah I'll bet. it's not that bad, it's only about 32F right now.

 

Still to cold for grilling for me but you're used to it so i'd bet 32F feels to you like 75F does to me. I made some meatloaf lastnight - ham. meat, onions, green peppers, Dales Steak seasoning, ketchup, egg, and crakers and formed them in the ham. patties and grilled them - good stuff. The wife made mashed potatoes, pinto beans, and a green salad.
