    The V-Rod power plant is relatively brand new, developed in 2000 by Porsche in conjunction with Harley. In order to get performance similar to the "crotch rockets" the stroke to bore ratio is much lower than the standard Harley engines. This means it sounds like a Harley only when it is idling. The V-Rod power plant is a great engine, but there are many hundreds of thousand of old die-hard Harley riders, like myself, that just love the sound - a very unique sound - of the standard Harley engine with a throaty set of pipes.....We would like to see the standard air cooled engine redesigned to maintain the stroke to bore ratio, 45 degree cylinder angle and ignition, but add provisions for liquid cooling. Should not be that damn difficult to do. The engine would have to be tot5ally redesigned as tolerances could and would be reduced due to the more even operating temperatures as is the case will all other liquid vs air cooled motorcycle engines........nuff said...

    speaking of nails throbbn. last night I was cutting the nails on my left hand first. went to cut my thumbnail and the damn handle broke!

    couldn't do my right side til today at work.
