    on pc vs. mac. keep in mind, if you dont have an actual mac shop (not just an apple store, they have to be a apple tech shop) any upgrade or hardware problem you have means sending it off for a couple weeks. If you buy a mac, for goodness sake, keep the original box, when you have to send it in they charge you $60 for a shipping box and the only way to defer is to use the original box.
