    thats because you ignored the install routine. no biggie. just restart and when it says do you want windows to automatically search for drivers? say no, you want to provide the driver.

    It happens. about 4 months ago my cat dumped a whole glass of icewater in my best laptop. Took me a week to disassemble and dry every last bit of water out and the mineral residue cleaned out. I used a whole lat of tetrachloride spray and made my garage into a deathtrap with the fumes. works fine now, I'm on it typing this right now.

    hit windows+e that opens explorer. then goto C:\ATI if it's there, we are happy. If not we have to find out where it was extracted to.
