router, wlan (need a wlan-card or stick for the second pc, consider connection-barriers like walls etc. - and encryption ) or cable (need a nic and some cables), capable connection.
cable has higher data-throughput rates, is more fail-safe and tap-proof, wlan is easier to arrange.

you could try this wlan-thing without the router, maybe you´ll be able to find a hot-spot or a leaky access-point in your neighborhood...

Yeah, what riv said. Buying a wireless router will set you back about 50 bucks. And a laptop nowdays runs about 500 for a decent one. I use a wireless router for both home and business. I like the fact i can carry my laptop around the house on Sundays and catch up on fantasy sports, phun, and other things on the net.

the real truth is that my brother is a huge pro wrestling fan, and my christmas gift (he's always wanted/wished to go to wrestlemania) to him is a wrestlemania ticket this year.

he isn't going to believe it.

 

afaik he´s done with his job in FL... so there might be some spare-time to be spend in DC...

Got cousin and bf over with us now. Went with them and the parents to the pub before, then back here, watching TV and slamming beers down. We had kinda run out of beer, all we had left was the 12 cans of tripe (would rather drink Castro's bathwater than that shit) and 2 bottles of "chocolate beer". So cousin's bf and I cracked open a bottle each. Had one sip each, I struggled but held on, he almost threw up, had to get him something else and then finish mine and now I'm working on his.

It's fucking awful, whoever came up with the idea of adding chocolate to beer should be strung up ty the fucking balls and left to die.

Hopefully they get to my house before Christmas. Lady on Ticketmaster told me they would probably be at my house in 10 days. I told them if it isn't - I'll call them and have them just UPS those babies to me.

Figured that would spice up his holidays.. man, he's going to be shocked.

Oh I knew. But the two bottles had been sitting inthe fridge wasting space for 3 months, someone had to drink them. This is a mission though, not even 1/3 of the way through...
