Day One of the Ashes Test at the WACA next Thursday

Pretty stoked, a friend rang me at work and offered it to me, his brother-in-law pulled out, no way I was gonna give up the chance.

We have restricted 'net access at work foxsports news is the best we get, brilliant site though.

The prices for this series are crazy, they really played a cash grab.

Day one basic admission at the 'G was $120. Plus you had to register through the Cricket Family system first. This will be like the first boxing day test day 1 i havent gone to in like 10 years!

Was hoping to see some extra game highlights like i caught last year as well

 

It is extortionate, I just hope I get the ticket at face value, my mate is a top bloke so hopefully he sees that I don't get ripped off. One of the guys at work is at Day One as well, then his family holiday conveniently coincides with Day One of Boxing Day, got tickets for that as well.

Sucks that you can't go, but with the price you mentioned and the price of drink and quantity, it can be an expensive day.

 

Yeah i know, and i'm pretty sure the last day of Melbourne and Sydney are not even free for this series which is even more of a shocker.

One reminder, i dont know what the WACCA is like but the MCG even worse after the renovation is like a pressure cooker. The heat gets trapped and it gets real intense. I saw alot of guys who were on the booze not even half the day go down with heat stroke real quick. Make sure to keep the water up!
