    I'm usually up til 4 am, I've always been a big night owl.
    It's the monsoon season here in the desert, when we get the bulk of our 3 inches of rain per year. I don't know what that comes to in centimeters, but it ain't much. And we tend to get it in very small increments per storm, like maybe 2 tenths of an inch. 1 inch of rain in 10 - 20 minutes can cause serious flooding because the ground can't absorb it all. The soil is too hard and dry, might as well be pavement.
