ah, good relaxing time then. I went out for some beers after work last night, but not having sinner and being tired hit me pretty hard. Only had 5 beers but was pretty pissed, normally it would take another 2 or 3 to get the same effect. Made it home ok so no complaining

 

eh the wife & I were both talking tonight about how we need a pub night - actually going out & being in public & shit.... her folks are going to be here in May so we have sitters then & can try.

I remember the days I was out every single weekend, and most nights of the week... how time changes things.

not this week. I worked till midnight the past 2 nights in a row. I am so fucken beat i am gonna crash in half an hour to an hour from now. I have to wake up early to get back to work. I would have been at work till midnight tonight as well except i lost track of time and didn't make it to the hardware store in time to buy MDF wood. So tomorrow i will have to wake up early to compensate for it. :-?

 

eh that bites - I can relate, as I'm doing a few extra hours this weekend for the OT money. That and waking up early tomorrow, but it's for family & friends time, so worth it.
I have accomplished FAR too much the past two days - I need to be a lazy fucking perv tomorrow night I think!

I did such an ass raping on my friends from poker last friday i don't think I will be lalowed to host poker nights at my house anymore. I'd play with 2 and a 7 off suite and on the flop pulled up trip dueces. One guy thought he had me at 2 pairs but i killed him on an all in. I racked in good last week.

So this sunday we are meeting up before the game for some more poker time.

yeah I think I'll be a full on perv tomorrow night once I get everyone to bed - definitely overdue.

usually it does - I'm doing some overtime beforehand on a DUI hunting special, so we'll see how that goes. It will be a long night, so I'm hoping for something good to make the time go fast.

 

do you wish for something major then? of is it the more peaceful the better it is for you?

 

also what the fuck do they do that would cause police interference on a major game like the superbowl?

 

well people drink, they get stupid & start arguing - so that tends to get us involved.

and yeah, I just want a dui or something like that - don't feel like any major crime just something simple to pass the time...

 

I've got enough big stuff lately to keep me busy, plus I'm picking up a new trainee on the 12th that will add to my plate.

well there will be alcohol and gambling involved at the party i am attending. I just hope the guests don't do anything stupid.

no it depends on the jurisdiction and how they work - some places still ride 2 to a car - here we only do it for training generally, but there are always exceptions.

 

what's the exceptions? rough neighborhoods?

 

certain assignments still ride partners here, just a mix of stuff
even though riding solo we still send 2 cars to stuff so it's still more than one guy unless a simple thing

 

ic, so whats the response time like in your area? Mine i believe is like 2-3 minutes for emergencies. They are thinking about building a sub-station a couple miles down the road from my house.

On a side note, why do people have to act so fucken stupid on forums? I just had to ban an idiot cause after trahing his threads he pm'ed me and ask me why, i explained why it was trashed and then he asked me why didn't i send him a pm to let him know, then proceded to post the exact same crap all over again. What a fucken dumb ass.
