A brief appearance tonight. This week has been far too long, and too many changing hours.

On the other hand, the first prenatal appointment for the new spawn was today & everything looks good so far, which is a blessing.

And I have beer. All is good in the world.

And i will be going to bed super early tonight. gotta get up at 3 to drive down to LA to see that customer who's moneyorder finally cleared but i have to get back early tomorrow night to get ready for saturday's hunt which means i will have to leave at 4AM.

 

I had a scotch and coke with lunch and it nearly knocked me out coz I had fuck all sleep last night.

 

Couple of nice beers to relax me on a Friday evening. Heading down south tomorrow for the day/night.

 

I can't drink beer. I have a mouthful and almost vomit.

 

Beer is God's nector. It's the only alcohol I'd regularly drink. Bourbon now and then, cocktails on a rare occasion.

 

Let me guess you drink the Matthew Lloyd poofta drinks? (bacardi breezer and you might not understand that I don't know if you get the AFL footy show all the way down there in little Perth)

 

Hahahaha, haven't had a Breezer in years.

Heineken, Becks, Stella and Haagen are my favs on the beer front, TED's also ok.
JD's or JB and coke if bourbon. The rare time I have a cocktail is when I'm sloshed and don't care what's in it.

 

Black Douglas, Grants, Jameson, Chivas Regal (my favourite) and Highland's (my second favourite) are the ones I don't mind.

 

Evening folks.

Just poured a nice two fingers of Bushmill's to do my private St. Pat's, since I'm working a bit tomorrow night... a beer to go along with it, and things are almost back to normal.

Except for being up all day for training (I HATE daytime anymore, and having no sleep) life is pretty good. Two more nights & my vacation starts.

 

Vacation time is always good. Im on day 3 of 4 off, back to work for a day then 3 days off.

 

ouch sounds like your schedule is like mine - of the past 12 I've had one day off
two whole weeks is looking incredible - not sure how I'll do! Though the fact I have to go visit family is tempering things...

 

I work shift work, the other week I worked 10 days with 1 day off.

 

yeah, you and I are on the same page with that - as I just answered on the other side, the issue for me isn't the normal days/nights - it's when they change my hours & want me to be awake when I'm used to sleeping. Gets old quick. ah well, still like what I do, so all worth it.

 

At my work it's either permanent nights 6pm-2am, 8pm-4am, 8pm-6am. Or day night rotation where you get two 4 week rosters of days 10am-6pm, 10am-8pm, 12pm-8pm and then two 4 week rosters of nights.

 

I'd be jumping on those permanent nights, but that's just me!

 

Looks like i have to cancel my hunt cause of rain this monday and tuesday. And next sunday's weather doesn't look good either.
