Wuzzah? I don't know of writing styles or cues just yet, i just developed my 'idioclastness' at a young age, as an immigrant in this foreign nation, somehow eschewing my native tongue unknowingly in my quest to absrob the intracacies of this language. I din't find it hard, but I did develop techniques that others hadn't sought out becuase they didn't know it served much purpose. I was always an excellent speller, and for a while, I wanted to become an author, (I did so, but not one of novels; just theroms and such)...
hm, I just gave tips to my uncle who works in South America as a contractor/architect... to practice both his Spanish and English by employing the power of TV, and the often misunderstood function of closed-captioning.

It's great.

 

I am also lacking in that perception of knowing what is photoshopped and what is not. I'll develop my eye as I go along, then.

The reason I stopped posting sets was multitudinous and varied;

From what I can gather right now it is because...

1. I traveled too much to post consistently.
2. I am a procrastinator-perfectionist, and it took too much effort on my part to think of a set, search for it so it was not a repost, layout the thread, choose only 20 pics, (out of a usually minimum of 60 photos in a prod. set...upwards of 300) upload them (it is now harder to do so no without a dedicated connection), and crop them necessarily to present a finished product.
What might take 10 minutes takes upwards of an hour for me.
3. The recognition is minimal, and the half-life of any given thread is usally a day or two at most.
4. I don't like porn, (this boggles me, too)
5. It became somewhat of a pissing match when the thanks system came into fruition.

I'm not sure that those photos are "porn," but porn is not definable. ... Recognition is nice. ... I think few know the effort a post like yours above takes.

I don't know what country I am from, to tell the truth. I was adopted in a foreign land, yet i was not born there (South Africa).

It doesn't really matter to me, but people are at a loss and get infurieated with me because they feel that such a simple question as 'where were you born?' is their failsafe to getting to know me. :roll:

Such questions as those I tend to shy away away from, but given my honest answer, I gauge on what to tell them.


For you, I'll tell you that I am currently working on citizenship to Scotland; I have worked there moderately over the past 36 months, I have a regular 'body' in the town of Kilmarnock... and most of English language, though developed in America, harkens to the traditionalized voice of the Greater British.

I currently hold citizenships in the U.S., Bolivia, Argentina (most likely born here, but it is not definitive as I have never had birth documents), S. Africa, Spain, France,( both honorary, virtually no application on my part involved) ... Canadia (though it is a false ID; they don't seem to care much)

Besides, English residence, I also am looking to establish presence in Brasil (automatic 16 months transferrence in Portugal under some old law to obtain citizenship status), Japan(Nihongo), Czech Republic, & Aruba.

 

I just gave my dogs their bedtime biscuits. I have go to bed shortly. I'm trying, but I'm not waking up. Damn.

 

They? Oh, my employers. I work as a "free" archeaologist, sometimes referred to in my profession as a contractor, but I could be classified as officially employed to the university I graduated from, but since I have multiple degrees from different places, it is therefore the one I associate myself with more,(i.e. the one I do the most research and study for...)

 

I see why the elusiveness is there. I hope your adoptive parents were good to you. The question begged is: Why do you seek so many citizenships?

 

Okay. Also, my view on pornography is that of the Europeans; that is, they consider "pornography" at its core, to be full-on bangin'. I never much had a liking to that, but I do appreciate 'erotic art' that displays what ancient cultures already knew: that woman is too good a being to be true.

I don't seek them out just to say, World-class traveler, but I sometimes have to stay in the countries for extended periods of time, do charitable work on their behalf, on the better behalf of history, (and sometimes my paycheck, lol)
but most of what it takes to be recognized and not ill-perceived as a "foreign-devil" is the ability to be at one with your local surroundings. On top of that, I don't much like being harassed by gov't officials to procure documents everywhere and anytime I return to the ventures.

I was issed nearly six of my citizenships and residence papers free of charge... (I just had to live or be born in the countries... so I was adopted in S. Africa: residence, later, full-citizenship... Bolivia & Argentina... my supposed birth mother was a Quecha Indian from the Andes, so I looked into the matter, signed some papers, and gave my name and my story of adoption, free citizenships in both S. American countries. It might also have helped that I was baptizeed there... U.S. lived in Rhode Island since I was 2, up until the age of eight, moving from state to state, issued my naturalization papers when I was 8 years old... My extended work in Spain & France allowed my society's grant foundation to award me an 'honorary citizen of the people' for my research & teachings there.)


Other than those, I like to live in Aruba, and Scotland is cool.
