    still freaky though. Was the first time i'd ever seen anything like it. I didn't know how far out it come before dissapating. We were up several floors in a high rise condo.

    They're fairly common along the gulf stream, but nowhere as powerful as land based tornadoes. They are definitely cool looking though.
