I have seen this one old man shoot it in a Thompson single shot handgun once at the range. He had on padded gloves and the thing still kicked his ass. It was hilarious cause he would take one shot, stand up and walk around talk to a bunch of people at the range and offer them if they want to shoot his pistol. My friend and i just chuckled cause we know it was hurting him like a mofo.

 

Yea, I would think so. You sure don't want to have to fire that thing twice in a row.

 

Long ago i was contemplating between buying a lever action in 45-70 or the ruger deerfield carbine in 44mag to complement my 44mag revolver. I opted not to either cause i found out my style of deer hunting would recuire a long range rifle. I bought a 308 instead and found out even with such a round the trajectory of the bullet sucks. I am now thinking of going to a 7mm mag.

 

7 mag is the way to go buddy. I had one about 4 years ago and traded it for a .243 & a .22 mag. The next gun I buy now is going to be a 7 mag, by far the best I've owned.

 

yeah i boiled it down to a 7mm mag from browning. I just need my site to make me more money

well the browning with the boss system is what i am after. it is a muzzle break and tuner. My friend have one and i really like how with hunting bullets he can shoot 3 inch groups at 500 yards.

Yea, they group nice, they have a mean ballistic tip for them too.

 

well that will be for a later project. the nice thing is i can always borrow my friend's rifle.

So between the two of us with me having 13 firearms and him having 8 we have alot of rounds covered.

 

Yea, the wife keeps telling me I have enough guns but I just don't believe her.
