trust me when i say the 2 party system is alot better than a multi party system, look at italy and most of europe, shit never gets done and you have to bribe more people in order to get anything done. Sans a dictatorship a 2 party system is the fastest form of democracy.

i rather not blindly vote for somebody i don't know will fuck the country over.

Not all, but most it seems. Israel has 4 primary parties and Mexico has 3.
It seems most Western nations have boiled it down to liberals versus conservatives however, no matter how extreem the factions are in each camp.
There is a small party in the US called Libertarians who are basically fiscal conservatives with a liberal attitude toward civil liberties and state's rights, which basically means that they believe in a small central (federal) government that should go about its business protecting the country and making sure the nation runs smoothly without sticking its collective nose in the private affairs of the citezens. Those issues can be looked after just fine by the individual states.

I disagree. This country desperately needs a third party of moderates to rise to power. Neocons and ultra liberals need to be marginalized post haste.

We currently have 5 in the parliament and the 3 are small that never get more than 15% all together

The 2 major have been switching places in the goverment the last 30 years....

I hear ya man, I have no clue how to make my efforts look good, so I just decided to leave it to the guys with talent.

 

We have a simple majority rule system that enables us to get legislation passed alot quicker than most countries, our system can turn on a dime wen it comes to most crisis due to the fact that there is only 2 parties. If you think it is hard to get 2 people to get along imagine multiple parties not getting along. and besides, big government vs. little government, what other position is there?

 

while I was out on the road I was able to pick up Mass Effect and Assassins Creed for the 360 for 15 bucks each, brand new!
