Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I asked for tonight off so I could get new glasses. It's a personal day, so they gave it to me. There won't be a problem with that. When I wake up I'll go get a new pair of glasses.

    Then, I'm not scheduled for the following two nights.

    So I get my eyesight back (yay), I lose money (boo), and I get scheduled time off (yay).

    You don't have paid vacation time there? We don't have personal days here, only vacation and sick leave. We have to take vacation days for holidays, personal, and of course vacation.

    We accumulate personal hours as well as vacation hours. I didn't want to go through a doctor's note thing to get personal hours for the glasses, just in case something worse happens where I'll need "panic time." I have about 3.5 personal days left this year and about 4 days of vacation left.

    We get 2 weeks of sick leave a year. I've been here for 15 years and have only taken sick leave when all 3 of my kids were born and to take them to the doctor. I've got just shy of 500 hours. I get 3 weeks of vacation a year, I have 90 something hours left of it.
