Still not sure yet. We'll start our weekly status meetings with the software vendor next week, I'll know more then. It's kinda looking like we'll send a Crystal Reports person and a application specialist but again, still not sure yet. It's a huge project with 23 application servers so there's no telling how many people will end up going to class.

2 jobs keeps my ass just above the poverty line in the working paycheck to paycheck category. Job #2 is more of a favor, 3-4 nights per week, my choice. not much money, just enough to put a little cash in the pocket for random items, like food.

So besides the over exageration of being that broke, may i ask you have any web design type of skills?

 

adding it to my "skillset", job #1 is buying me a bunch of tools to build crap with. I create e-learning clips by day.

 

so you know alot about web design and coding?

 

I don't have coding background per say. I do use multiple web page creation tools to produce the end results that are needed.

Captivate (have version 1, waiting for version 3 upgrade to arrive)

They are supposed to be ordering me some other items, such as Dreamweaver or Flash MX to create some better "core" programming or manipulate existing html. They keep giving me stuff to play with since I came from a DOS background, I can usually manipulate anything to meet my and my companies needs.

 

I think i might still have a dreamweaver MX somewhere on one of these comps. You buying yoursor is your company buying it for you? Cause i can get you a bootleg copy and you can bill your company for it if it goes on your personal computer.

 

Company pays, and directly downloads to the company computer. What I do is always have them order the version w/ the CD as back-up. As soon as it's installed via the download, I go register it with all my personal info, not the companies. So when by chance I leave, I can click the transfer license button on the company pc and install a legal version at home. They never keep the software on the PCs they just delete them, wasting their money. I may take the MX in the near future. Really considering leaving in the near future.
