    I actually agree with the kick. He was trying to run the clock out and he probably didn't think a rookie QB would make that throw that quick so that there would be a second left.

    with 11 seconds left wouldn't a touchback be better? kick it out of the end zone and make him go 50 yards in 6 seconds.

    That kick gave them great field position. that was the problem. where 1 throw can get them into field position.
