Canon makes excellent cameras and the price is right. If there's a Best Buy in your area I suggest going there and making the purchase. If you ask right, they may knock a few bucks off the price. Few people realize that most electronics stores are open to negotiating the price of their products.

I really like this camera, it's cute (obviously thats what I care about). But I guess it should also take good pictures, huh?

 

The only thing I know about digital cameras is to go just as high as you can afford with the optical zoom on them pg. The digital zoom (if you don't already know ) is just the cameras interpretation of the pic. 8 mega pixels is sweet though. Christ, you could print out wall size pics with that.
