You know, it'd be nice to have a Phun photo database, so we didn't have to depend on the image hosts, who unceremoniously dump the images after a while.

Jet, scribe has who knows how many saved versions at home. Post in order. You've given me an idea though. Along with an alphabetical list, a database-type person should link and list 'em by commonalities.

I just learned to alphabetize in Word:

Do you occasionally need to alphabetize a list of names? You could waste an entire hour on that single task, but Word can sort the list instantly:

1. Type a list of names, pressing the Enter key after each name. Your list should look something like:
*****
Mary Koepke
*****
Bill Coan
*****
Paul Jones

2. Select the entire list.

3. On the Table menu, choose Sort.

4. Click Options, then click Other, then press the spacebar and click OK.

5. Choose "Sort by Word 2", then click OK.

Now your list looks like this:

*Bill Coan
*****
Paul Jones
*****
Mary Koepke

Repeat Steps 1–5, but choose "Sort by Word 1" and your list will look like this:

Bill Coan
*****
Mary Koepke
*****
Paul Jones

 

No. I just use it when I'm copywriting. I honestly prefer TextEdit on my Mac, because it's so simple. I never make spreadsheets, so I probably need an Excel class.

 

oh man i am so loving this new function cayne just added. Riv and i now must approve all new accounts onto the board and after the first day we deleted so many spammers accounts. they must be loving us now.

Gone are the 40-50 accounts i have to spend and edit plus delete their posts etc.

 

More on Apps... I use so Photoshop and Dreamweaver so much, it's nice not to think once in a while when I'm writing or futzing around with photos.
