I don't hate anyone for voicing their opinion pm, as long as they do it in a mature open minded way. Just like anything else that has controversy as long as you discuss it and not push your views it's healthy. Unforetuneatly there is always someone that comes along and destroys the conversation and turns it into an arguement.

BTW - I won't say who i'm voting for. The points I made about the media are my views of the media, I hate them - they push what the want instead of telling the true story. That point has nothing to do with who I think is best suited to be the next president.

 

The south and the north in the U.S. are usually divided in their presidential preferences. Interestingly, the states in the south and the north are just as likely to reverse their politics when choosing their state governor. Many Democratic governors in the south, and many Republican governors in the north. Go figure. :?

 

More than south we are in the Bible belt - bible thumpers is what other people call us. We traditionally make decisions based on religion instead of economics or whatever - that is our sterotype.

I think that's because most people think it's best not to have a total party in control of everything. If you have a total Democratic or Republic party in control there is no rebuttle to do what is right - they do what they want.

 

The media is slanted to entertain now. And you're right about people being wrong to push their ideas on others.

That's the danger of having the Democrats control Congress and the Presidency. I do think Obama will pull a "Clinton" and become more moderate -- "move to the center," if he wins. That will piss off a lot of Democrats.

I don't know what he'll do. I will say this, i'm more worried about who gets elected this year than I ever have been before. This country is a total shit mess right now with the war and economy - it's going to take a great person with the help of congress to turn it around.
