    Most pop, by it's very nature, is shit. But every so often, as pop is wont to do, it produces a song that 'aint half bad. And a song that you can stand to listen to months or years after the furore around it has died off.

    Most modern tracks don't have the longevity of a Hotel California or an American Pie.
