    I think 'cos the GG's is a mix of TV and film, the pretentiousness is reduced dramatically. And i'm sure the booze helps. ;)

    Monk is an excellent show. Numb3rs is okay too, at least the few episodes I've seen.
    Fuck off the rest of the morning and then pass out until it was time to get up and go out and party again. :D

    Of course the booze helps. :)

    But it's also the layout of the audience, comfortably sitting around tables instead of lined up in theater seats, all hemmed in for the proceedings - far more personable. Kind of like a wedding reception, retirement supper and dinner party all rolled into one, which it essentially is in a broad sense.
