has no context that makes this seem like a good idea for a royal on camera. It has a weak attempt to claim that paki is a nickname for a friend (which seems dubious, but whatever), and no justification whatsoever for using the term raghead.

hey 21, slept a few hours now up again. how's it goin?

 

OK. Only worked about 3/4 of a shift. Low freight count, so we got out early. What're you up to? Did you get a foot of snow?

 

Got about a foot in the past 24 hours. Glad it stopped. Is it usually slow this time of year?

 

It is. We're tied into retailing, so after X-mas/New Year's Day, it's less. But, they schedule fewer workers too, so sometimes a night can be just as hard. Tonight just worked out good. (Except I'm hourly -- so I lose a couple hours pay. )

 

that sucks you lose out on pay. will things pick up soon, or slow for a while?

 

I'm not sure how they're going to schedule people this year. Normally everybody gets fewer hours for a couple months. They could cut people and give the remaining people more hours. I hope they don't cut people, though. I hope they keep things "as usual."

 

Yeah, that would really be bad to cut hours now.

 

Either way, it's a slower time.
