Well, thanks, that answers some of my questions, but it raises a few more. Someone reports the files as having "illegal content" (what content?! bestiality? necrophilia? I know that some things are over SOMEONE'S line, but this is a porn site, after all), or for having "copyrighted material"--?? Hell, everything on here, unless it's you and your girl friend with a camera on the table, that's from a porn movie or porn site is copyrighted--right??!! So if that's the case, then why do so many rapidsh** files crap out within days and even HOURS, while you can download upfile, megaupload, megafile, netinload, depositfiles, etc., etc., etc. for weeks and even months later???? It's all sex. It's all copyrighted. It still is a mystery to me.

I figured there had to be some financial kickback to it. The uploader gets his "points," while the rest of us get a dead link half the time, and have to ask politely for a reup...yeah, yeah, of course I know that "it's all free." (That's why the majority of us are here--you think?) Yes, I appreciate folks posting their free clips for everyone, and no, I'm not "looking a gift horse in the mouth." But if I was, a gift horse (rapidsh**) that can't open it's mouth half the time isn't much of a gift, is it--?? Oh well. Thanks again.

 

Rapidshare will use the blanket "illegal content", 99 times out 100 it's a reported copyright thing. It's not rapidshare they could care less what you upload it just they act when content is reported. Your right most content here has been copyrighted at sometime or other. Most owners of the file don't know or don't care some like it cause it spreads the word of their site. I've joined pays sites cause I saw some of their content here and wanted more or better quality of it. The rapidshare haters should band together and never click another rapidshare link. But no wait that would slow your porn consumption way down, wouldn't it.

 

Also a rapidshare uploader never get a single point unless the file is successfully downloaded. I don't get a point for someone just clicking my files. Their are points for clicks hosters but they are rip offs, Phun dsn't even allow you to use that type of hoster here.

 

Well, I can't deny it would slow it down some, but they do a pretty good job as it is with all their dead links. I don't quite think it's approaching 50% of the ones I click on...but some nights, it sure seems like it. Thanks for your replies.

It appears some are getting the thread off topic. I've been here for a while and don't usually comment much, but in an effort to move on and hopefully see some more Tori Black sexy time....

If you don't like rapidshare don't click the link. The people who post videos probably don't care if you like the host. They don't have to because it's what they like to use and rapidshare is an approved host at phun. Most people who bitch about rapidshare links are only downloading what's posted by others and not sharing their own content. If you wanna leech, stop complaining about what you didn't get and find something else. Bazzuchelli, 9 of your 22 posts are complaining about rapidshare. Clicking on a dead link sucks, but maybe you should stop clicking rapidshare links. That way if it's dead you won't be so dissappointed. :2cent:

I know you may feel frustrated at finding dead Rapidshare links, but I have seen plenty of similar screens from the other file sharers. However, it takes me 30 minutes to upload 100MB of data and there were 80+ scenes in this thread, so a lot of hours and months were spent creating it so who is the more frustrated? Also, I don't need to upload them but I thought others would appreciate them as well, and the majority do.
Rapidshare do not cancel links after a few hours (most of these were months old) unless they have received a complaint. Unfortunately they do appear quicker to act than others, but that is in their (and our) best interest as a company to comply with the law. As all these links were reported at the same time it was most likely another poster (in another forum where it was also hosted) who having downloaded the scenes re-hosted them on cash paying servers and reported the RS links.
Where links have been deleted a polite PM to the up-loader may result in a repost or a return PM with alternative links but "Fuck to everybody use rapid to post videos" generally doesn't work.

Ps. Ares, she has now shot an anal scene which might just kick start another thread.
