ha... seen so many dogs drawing in their horns face-to-face with a self-confident cat...

 

I used to have a Persian Blue Siamese cross called Atilla. It was a big heavy set cat and real mean when it wanted to be. My neighbours had a Doberman. It was a trained guard dog and would take on any person or any other dog.

First time they met the dog chased Atilla across the lawn. Atilla ran half way up a tree, span round, leaped onto the dog's back and dug it's claws in. We were treated to this hilarious Bucking Bronco show of the dog yelping and jumping about the garden trying desperately to throw the cat clinging onto it's back.

After that the Doberman was scared shitless of Atilla. It wouldn't leave their house if he was in their garden. My neighbours used to laugh that Atilla would pace up and down or sit right outside their french windows looking in sometimes and their big mean guard dog would run and hide behind the sofa.

my cat has met my mom's dog a few times. a big flatcoated retriever girl. they're both kinda scared but my cat is also pretty annoyed by the dog's presence so she tries to ignore the dog as much as possible (which means that she sometimes goes a bit out of her way but not much).

My dog is a big pussycat anyways. She is the nicest animal, i was hoping to get some brownie points for mentioning that she is a German shorthair pointer.
