    hmm... depends what you think about it before you go and see the movie. like with lord of the rings... i knew it wouldn't be like the pictures in my head when i read the books but i thought it might still be a good movie. and it was. but book and movie are two different things.
    the horse whisperer was a different thing. i think it was good i read the book before i saw the movie cause this way i could use my knowledge from the book to understand the stuff they did in the movie while my friends who didn't read the book said the end was cruel and bad.

    it´s about the own "imagination" about a book compared to seeing someone else´s view about it - sometimes matching, sometimes different, sometimes enjoying, sometimes dissapointing or even disgusting.

    Lord Of The Rings is special, yes - as certain threads here on phun are, too ;)
