I never understood wanting credit & tagging for just scanning a magazine - it's not like you took the original pics or had any real creative alterations. I would like to see the non-scanned images in HQ though!

 

The two replies, are the MINORITY.

The majority of people I guarantee understand.

Honestly, if I wanted to ruin the pictures, my tags would be gigantic, like other people do... and they would be right on top of the image so they would be impossible to remove.

But, I won't do that... I won't let a few bad eggs spoil it for everyone.

BTW- Erase the images, don't look at them ever again. Cause you'd never see them if people like me didn't scan them for you.

 

I do appreciate you scanning them. Just don't appreciate the asking for credit & calling someone out for removing a tag that shouldn't have been there in the 1st place.

 

hahahahahahaha! this is a joke right? are you the only guy with a scanner? OMG i would have sworn i have one of those on my printer as well! maybe i should scan. is there a magical trick you know how to use a scanner and i don't? Get over it buddy. Nobody on here has the time of day to intentionally delete your watermark. We find pictures and we post them on here. We don't bother to alter your watermarks. :roll:

Sorry, I didn't realize you were the only no-lifer who scans photos.

 

anyone read the article. the whole thing is her trying to prove she's on the show for her palate and not her looks. i've watched every episode since the start of season 2. that's when she joined the show. i honestly can't remember her making one intelligent comment about the food unless she was repeating something said by another judge.

 

I thought the spitting of the food onto a napkin when she tasted ariel's dessert was original.

 

This is a very attractive woman.

She's a chef? She writes cookbooks? She was married to Salman Rushdie? That's all pretty cool.

 

do you still guarantee it? because it looks to me like YOU are in the MINORITY.

i actually have great respect and admiration for talented imaging artists like kroqjock, vampirehorde, finn, nerble and others and i do credit them in my posts. for them it's an art form and they don't just press a button. there's alot of work that goes into the pic after they scan it to make it look good before they post it. in this digital age it has become a lost art.

but i don't respect you and i'll tell you why.

1) your scans aren't that good
2) the others imaging artists i mentioned, if they do add a tag/watermark, it's their own and not a website's tag
3) you've leeched tons of pics from here, uploaded them to your site, and didn't give credit to phun so why act all high and mighty?
4) you don't contribute your pics here unless you are pimping your website (funny how after 6 months of not contributing pics, you made 5 posts right after i made this one, most of which have links pimping your website which causes my anti-virus program to give a malicious attack warning)
5) you are a hypocrite (see THIS POST where YOU photoshopped off someone else's tags, added your own tag, called them your own "original" untagged pics, and then threatened everyone not to remove the new tags, which by the way, are the most ridiculous looking tags i've ever seen in my life:

i've only been here a short time but it's obvious to me this place is about sharing pics, preferably untagged, without expecting credit. your line "you'd never see them if people like me didn't scan them for you" is a joke.

unless all the scanner manufacturers suddenly went out of business

And it just has no affect on me. And it won't stop me from finding your REPOSTS of my work.

I'd post some original pictures by you... but I can't seem to find any!

you've been here long enough to know that on phun, if you call it a repost, you should include the phun link to the original post to back up your claim. and since you didn't (because there isn't one), then by definition, it's not a repost.

if seeing your scans posted here causes you a problem, i can think of at least 3 solutions:

1) post them here before someone else does
2) don't post them anywhere on the internet
3) quit yer bitchin' and deal with it

any one of the 3 is fine with me
