Posts/Re-ups of old events, and pic sets (RULE CHANGE, PLEASE RE-READ)

I think it may be time for a refresher

Hey guys.

Lately, there's been a lot of these old event posts. As nice as they are to see, they tend to force the new content posts down the page faster, and without the visibility that they deserve.

From here on out, please limit the old event/pic set posts to 3 per day for any individual celeb, model, etc. Kieks will update the rules thread over the weekend to reflect this change, and to give you all the specifics.

How about a section devoted to the old posts & events? Allowing threads in that section to contain more than one event (compilations) would also help cut down on the multiple posting that tends to get a little ridiculous sometimes. This would also help people searching for a celeb find content quicker. I know when I go looking for older stuff, I often find threads with no image content left due to hosts that are no longer allowed, have gone out of business, or have just plain expired and it no longer exists on the servers.

 

That would be entirely up to the admins c-through, but methinks their response would be that they have enough on their plate already.

Can't hurt to ask though. Run it past Kieks.

Sensible idea i think. I love to see older stuff as well as newer stuff on the boards but sometimes the old flooding can be overwhelming. Plus, if they are a little older then they aren't going anywhere and it also gives you something to look forward to another time

 

A really good idea Salty, pure sense - I know myself a couple of my posts have literally dropped off the radar.

I'd love to see a sub forum for pics over 3 months old with a search in the official celb section still required. But this is a great step.

 

Thanks gap. As I'm sure you've read, you're the second member to mention a sub forum. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with tending to a sub, and I'll discuss it with the K-Man, but ultimately the decision is up to the admins.

 

Salty, I sent Kieks a PM with my ideas. I think it could really improve the site and clean up the old dead posts at the same time.

 

I think that the idea of the sub-forum for pics over 3 months old is great, I support that idea. Will be simplier for all.

It's 2 A.M. his time, so I'll wait to hear what he has to say when he drags his ass out of the rack bro.

 

One more thing, It is even more important with such a new rule that we all take as much efforts as is possible to date our posts. Of all the info I think it is one of the most important - and where absent date unknown.

Let's not get off topic with this one gents. This is just a heads up thread for the new rule.

Like I mentioned, I'll discuss the sub with Kieks, and the other admins, and we'll go from there.
