all i see is some clever move by probably her dad. the cheapest way to get more public attention than through any mag cover or appearance. he knew she wouldn't be in jail the full time. for her carrer nothing better could happen right now than the judge ordering her to go to jail for a few days. it probably was clear from day one that she's be released a lot earlier.
i mean.. either her dad would have to spend millions to achieve a similar degree of public attention or she's have to go to jail for a few days... and the outcome is much greater than what her dad could buy

 

None of them are that smart - they thought they could manipulate the system and she got slapped down by the judge after playing their little games and convincing the sheriff's dept to send her home for house arrest when the just specifically ordered that NOT to happen. He's just letting everyone know who's in charge - you don't mess around and show up late to court (or not at all like this morning), and try and violate his terms without consequences.

 

Well I dont like her either but the Sheriff was well within his right to do whatever he wanted with her.Jails are ruled by Sheriffs not judges.The deals they make holdup no matter what grandstanding judges do.Do a little cecking yall see.As for wishing her harm she IS a spoiling rotten bitch but it is not all HER fault.Try just a bit of compassion its the media's fault she's crammed down our throught's all the time afterall.Fight the right ennemy!!!She'll be out next week.The world still turns.

I seriously sad she went to jail, cause it means no nip slip or maybe her nudity films/pictures of her...bwahahahahaha.
I reckon, she made the attention too much by what she has done. She thought it would be funny, I don't think she thought that she would end up in the real JAIL.
Oh well, life is shitty Paris...next time when u're out, do more nude movies rather than Drunk Driving.

No the Sheriff knew the only reason he could over turn the courts sentence, and give Paris Hilton an early release was overcrowding of the jail or some medical reason. Anxiety to being in jail just doesn't cut it. Sheriff Lee Baca tried to pull a fast one over the court.
