    Maggie Gyllenhaal came immediately to my mind as well when I saw these. It's great that these ladies feel free enough to breastfeed in public. It's true, we might think it too intrusive or inappropriate to gawk at their breasts at this particular period of their lives, but as hetero males our brains are hard-wired to feel arousal at the sight of bare breasts - cultural or not. Once the breastfeeding stage is past, we will clamor to see those breasts again as sexual symbols of a woman's femininity. :2cent:

    I dont think you could be more wrong on this issue.

    I would absolutely agree with you if Gwen was at her home, in her back yard and someone invaded her privacy and took some pictures of her breast feeding. But here is a celebrity, surrounded by loads of people including paparazzi, at the beach and she's decided to expose her breast so she can feed her child. She should have absolutely no expectation of privacy at this point. It almost seems as if she was looking for some exposure leading up to her premier on The Voice. This is not at all intrusive!
    I'm not opposed to breast feeding in public, but when a celebrity does it, she should expect that there will be pictures taken and posted on the WWW.

    She has paps following her where-ever she goes and that is what you find intrusive?:) It falls under fame vs privacy, you trade fame for privacy. I do see your point however.
